Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 325556 Size: SH
  3. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

    4. Object Number: 325557 Size: MH
  4. Remove the accelerator cable from the engine cable bracket.

    5. Object Number: 590402 Size: SH
  5. Remove the accelerator cable (1) from the accelerator pedal (3).

    6. Object Number: 587901 Size: SH
  6. Remove the accelerator cable assembly from the bulkhead (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 587901 Size: SH
  1. Install the accelerator cable to the bulkhead (1).
    2. • Ensure all locking tabs (3) are expanded to secure cable assembly to dash panel (1).
    • Ensure dash panel insulator does not come in contact with any portion of the cable.

  2. Install the accelerator cable (1) to the accelerator pedal (3). Ensure the retainer (2) is securely seated to the accelerator pedal.

    3. Object Number: 325557 Size: MH
  3. Install the accelerator cable to the engine cable bracket.

    4. Object Number: 325556 Size: SH
  4. Install the accelerator cable to the throttle lever.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
