Removal Procedure
  1. Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the primary piston position sensor electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1892243 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 primary piston position sensor screws (1).
  4. Remove the primary piston position sensor (2).

    5. Tilt the rear of the position sensor downward and remove the sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1892243 Size: SH
  1. Install the primary piston position sensor (2).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 primary piston position sensor screws (1) and tighten to  10 N·m (89 lb in).
  3. Connect the primary piston position sensor electrical connector.
