Removal Procedure
  1. Position the front wheels and the steering wheel straight ahead.
  2. Place a container under the power steering gear in order to catch fluid when removing the end limiters.

    3. Object Number: 905572 Size: SH
  3. Remove the following components from the steering gear:
    4. • The top end limiter (1)
    • The O-ring (2)
  4. Remove the following components from the steering gear:
    5. • The bottom end limiter (1)
    • The O-ring (2)

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 905572 Size: SH
  1. Install the following components into the steering gear:

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    • The O-ring (2)
    • The bottom end limiter (1)

    Tighten
    Tighten the end limiter to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  2. Install the following components into the steering gear:
    3. • The O-ring (2)
    • The top end limiter (1)

    Tighten
    Tighten the end limiter to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  3. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
