Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement 50/50 Split - 60/40 Split

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement , Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement or Rear Number 2 50-50 Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat back folding cover, if necessary. Refer to Rear Folding Seat Back Cover Replacement .
3. Remove the armrest from the seat back, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .



4. Remove the head restraints (1) from the seat back. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
5. Remove the seat back plastic cover (10) from the seat back frame, if equipped.
6. Release the J-clips from the seat back cover.
7. Release the hook and loop strips retaining the seat back cover (2) to the foam pad (12).
8. In order to ease removal, place a piece of cardboard between the seat back cover and the foam pad.
9. Working from side to side, carefully lift the seat back cover from the foam pad.

1. Working from side to side, carefully install the seat back cover over the foam pad.



2. Remove the cardboard from between the seat back cover and the foam pad.
3. Engage the hook, and the loop strips that retain the seat back cover (2).
4. Engage the J-clips that retain the seat back cover.
5. Install the seat back plastic cover (10) to the seat back frame, if equipped.
6. Install the head restraints (1) to the seat back. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
7. Install the armrest to the seat back, if removed. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement .
8. Install the seat back folding cover, if removed. Refer to Rear Folding Seat Back Cover Replacement .
9. Install the rear seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement , Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement or Rear Number 2 50-50 Seat Replacement .

Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement Bench

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the headrests. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
3. Remove the side trim plate and screws (1).



4. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt (1).



5. Remove the plastic seat belt guides (1).



6. Release the J-Clips from the trim.
7. Remove the plastic pushpin (1) from the side seat belt guide.
8. Remove the head restraint retainers.
9. Remove the seat back cover and pad from the frame.

1. Install the seat back cover and pad to the frame.
2. Install the head restraint retainers.
3. Install the plastic pushpin (1) into the side seat belt guide.



4. Connect the J-clips to the trim.
5. Install the plastic seat belt guides (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




6. Install the seat belt anchor bolt (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).




7. Install the side trim plate and screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

8. Install the headrests. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
9. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
