Makes 🢒 Generic 🢒 2004 🢒 Unit Repair 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 5.7L (LS1 Export) 🢒 Valve Rocker Arm Cover Removal - Left Side

    Object Number: 309727 Size: SH

    Important: Do not remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve grommet from the cover unless service is required.

    If the grommet has been removed from the cover, a NEW grommet must be installed.

  1. Remove the ignition coil and bracket assembly and bolts.

    2. Object Number: 260085 Size: SH
  2. Remove the valve rocker arm cover bolts.
  3. Remove the valve rocker arm cover.

    4. Object Number: 490696 Size: SH
  4. Remove the gasket (1) from the cover.
  5. Discard the gasket.

    6. The bolt grommets may be used again if not damaged.

  6. Remove the ignition coils, wire harness, and bolts from the bracket, if required.
