Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Support the rear axle.
  3. Disconnect the air suspension level sensor (if equipped). Refer to Air Spring Leveling Sensor Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 793288 Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper shock absorber nut and the bolt.
  5. Remove the lower shock absorber nut and the bolt.
  6. Remove the shock absorber.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 793288 Size: SH
  1. Install the shock absorber.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the upper shock absorber nut and bolt.
  3. Install the lower shock absorber nut and bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 115 N·m (85 lb ft).

  4. Connect the air suspension level sensor (if equipped). Refer to Air Spring Leveling Sensor Replacement .
  5. Remove the rear axle support.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
