Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel center air outlet bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Bezel Replacement .
2. Remove the console shift lever bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement .

Instrument Panel Lower Compartment Screw (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connections.
2. When replacing the instrument panel lower compartment, transfer all necessary components.
