Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to 
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
 
- Support the rear axle.
 
- Remove the stabilizer shaft link retaining nut from the frame.
 
- Remove the lower shock absorber nut and bolt from the rear axle. 
 
- Lower the rear axle until the springs are fully unloaded.
 
- Remove the coil spring and the insulators.
 
Installation Procedure
Note: Note the position of the coil springs, as the left coil spring and the right coil spring are different.
- Install the coil spring and the insulators.
 
- Raise the rear axle.
 
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the lower shock absorber retaining nut and bolt to the rear axle and tighten to 
115 N·m (85 lb ft).
 
- Install the stabilizer shaft link to the frame.
 
- Install the stabilizer shaft link retaining nut and tighten to 
65 N·m and rotate an additional 40° (48 lb ft and rotate an additional 40°).
 
- Remove the rear axle support.
 
- Lower the vehicle.
