Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1412526 Size: SH
  1. Open the spare tire carrier.
  2. Open the endgate.
  3. Remove the striker bolt.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1486514 Size: SH
  1. Install the striker bolt.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the striker bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  2. Close the endgate and verify the latch operation and reopen.
  3. Close the endgate.
  4. Latch and secure the spare tire carrier.
