1. ERH Switch Indicator Inoperative |
The air suspension control module (ASCM) monitors the electronic ride height ERH switch active indicator signal for a short to battery.
• | Battery voltage is between 9-16 volts. |
• | The ignition is ON or OFF. |
The ASCM senses the ERH active indicator light emitting diode LED signal circuit voltage shorted to battery.
• | The air suspension system will be inoperative. |
• | No message is displayed. |
The DTC will clear when the condition for setting the DTC is removed.

Control Module References for scan tool information
Ignition ON, observe the scan tool ERH Switch Indicator parameter while pressing/depressing the ERH switch. The ERH switch indicator reading should change between OFF/ON and ON/OFF.
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the ASCM ride height active signal circuit terminal A2 for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, test or replace the ASCM. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the ASCM ride height active signal circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ASCM. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, replace the ERH switch. |
⇒ | If greater than the specified value, replace the ERH switch. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, replace the ERH switch. |
