Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.

Front Seat Recliner Lever (If Equipped)

Tip
Using a flat-bladed tool, push the retainer clip downward and pull outward to release the knob.

Front Seat Adjuster Outer Finish Cover

Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement.

Front Seat Adjuster Inner Finish Cover

Refer to Front Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement.

Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad

Tip

1. Disengage the j-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame.
2. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.

Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Sensor Retainer (Qty: 2)

Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Sensor

Procedure

1. Lay the seat on its side.
2. Unhook the connector from retainer on seat frame and push up through seat pan.
3. Disconnect and remove the sensor.

Front Seat Adjuster Assembly

Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Module Rivets (Qty: 2)

Procedure

Drill out the rivets to remove and install using new rivets.

Inflatable Restraint Front Passenger Presence Module

Tip

1. The inflatable restraint passenger presence module must be replaced as a kit that also includes the sensor assembly.
2. Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Control Module References.
