Preliminary Procedures

1. Evacuate the air conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
2. Remove the evaporator tube from the condenser. Refer to Evaporator Tube Replacement .
3. Remove the discharge hose from the condenser. Refer to Discharge Hose Replacement .
4. Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

10 N·m (89 lb in)

Condenser Assembly Bolt

Tip
Tilt the radiator assembly toward the rear of the vehicle to access the right condenser bolt.

Tighten
28 N·m (21 lb ft)

Tilt the radiator toward the rear of the vehicle to remove the condenser.
