    • J 8433 Two Jaw Puller
    • J 22912-B Split Plate Bearing Puller
    • J 29710 Differential Side Bearing Installer
    • J 36597 Side Bearing Puller Pilot
    • J 45766 Differential Side Bearing Remover

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the differential assembly. Refer to Front Differential Assembly Replacement.
  2. To remove the left differential side bearings, follow steps 3 through 7.

  3. Install the J 45766 remover
  4. Install the J 36597 pilot (3).
  5. Install the J 8433 puller (2).
  6. Using the J 8433 puller and rotating it clockwise, remove the differential side bearing.
  7. To remove the right differential side bearings follow steps 8 through 11.

  8. Install the J 45766 remover
  9. Install the J 36597 pilot (3).
  10. Install the J 8433 puller (2).
  11. Using the J 8433 puller and rotating it clockwise, remove the differential side bearing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 651740 Size: SH

    Note: In order to protect the differential case, install the J 36597 on the opposite side of the bearing installed.

  1. Install the J 36597 pilot
  2. Using the J 29710 installer (21) and the J 8092 handle (1), install the differential side bearing.
  3. Install the differential assembly. Refer to Front Differential Assembly Replacement.
