Makes 🢒 Holden 🢒 2008 🢒 WM Sedan 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake

Removal Procedure
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.

    2. Important: Do not remove the engine Control Module (ECM) from the ECM bracket .

    Do not remove the ECM redundant ground wire from the ECM.

  2. Remove the remote earth post bracket to engine front cover retaining bolts.

  3. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) actuator valve electrical connector (1) from the CMP sensor (2).

    4. Object Number: 1949757 Size: SH
  4. Remove the CMP actuator solenoid valve to engine front cover retaining bolt (1).
  5. Remove the CMP actuator valve (2) from the engine front cover.
  6. Inspect the CMP actuator valve seal and replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure
  1. Inspect the CMP actuator valve seal for damage. Replace the seal if necessary.

    2. Object Number: 1949757 Size: SH
  2. Install the CMP actuator valve (2) to the engine front cover.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the CMP actuator solenoid valve to engine front cover retaining bolt (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the CMP actuator valve electrical connector (1) to the CMP sensor (2).
  5. Install the remote earth post bracket to engine front cover retaining bolts.
