Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the front facia assembly. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1943677 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the horn electrical connector from the horn unit (1)
  4. Remove the horn assembly to front end module retaining bolt (2).
  5. Pull the horn assembly (3) outward to remove it from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Align horn in correct position on vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1943678 Size: SH
  2. Install the horn assembly to front end module retaining bolt (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 4.5 N-m (39 lb in).

  3. Connect the horn electrical connectors (3) to the horn assembly.
  4. Install the front facia assembly. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
