Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Open the door.

    3. Object Number: 1946841 Size: SH
  3. Insert a suitable tool under the door courtesy lamp assembly and gently pry the lamp assembly from the door trim panel.
  4. Remove the lamp assembly from the door trim panel and disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Bend back the lever contact that holds the bulb and remove the bulb from the lamp housing.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the new bulb to the lamp assembly.

    2. Object Number: 1946907 Size: SH
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the lamp assembly.
  3. Feed the lamp assembly wiring into the cavity and push the lamp back into the door panel cavity.
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  5. Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.
