The telematics system interfaces with the infotainment unit to allow audio to be transmitted via the vehicle speaker system.
| • | System voltage is between 9-16 volts. | 
| • | Ignition switch is in the ON position. | 
The infotainment unit sets a current status for this DTC when a short to ground, short to voltage or an open/high resistance is detected on the speaker channel output from the telematics module.
| • | The telematics module sets a DTC. | 
| • | The telematics module commands the red LED ON. | 
| • | The telematics module disables the audio output to the infotainment unit, producing no sound from the vehicle speakers for the telematics system. | 
| • | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. | 
| • | The history DTC will clear after 50 fault-free ignition cycles. | 
| • | The DTC can be cleared using a scan tool. | 
Verify customer complaint by adjusting speaker outputs through the infotainment fascia controls, fade and/or balance.
