Removal Procedure
- Drain the reservoir.
 
Important: Cap the hoses in order to prevent dirt from entering the system.
- Remove the hoses (1, 2) from the power steering reservoir.
 
Important: Leave the hoses connected to the surge tank when removing and place to the side when removing the power steering reservoir bracket assembly.
- Remove the surge tank. Refer to 
Radiator Surge Tank Replacement
 .
 
- Remove power steering reservoir bracket bolts and nuts.
 
- Remove the power steering reservoir assembly.
 
Installation Procedure
- Install the power steering reservoir assembly to the vehicle. 
 
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the power steering reservoir bracket bolts and nuts.
 
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
- Connect the hoses (1, 2) to the power steering reservoir.
 
- Install the hose clamps.
 
Tighten
Tighten the clamps to 5 N·m (45 lb in).

- Bleed the power steering system. Refer to
