Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 206138 Size: SH
  1. Remove the sill trim plate screws.
  2. Remove the sill trim plate.

    3. Object Number: 206141 Size: SH
  3. Remove the assist handle bolts.
  4. Remove the assist handle.

    5. Object Number: 206152 Size: SH
  5. Remove the seat belt retractor cover screw.
  6. Remove the seat belt retractor cover.
  7. Remove the seat belt pass-through trim screws.

    8. Object Number: 206162 Size: SH
  8. Carefully pull the upper anchor bolt cover in order to remove the upper anchor bolt.

    9. Object Number: 206164 Size: SH
  9. Remove the lower anchor bolt.

    10. Object Number: 206167 Size: SH
  10. Remove the retractor bolt.

    11. Object Number: 206152 Size: SH
  11. Remove the driver seat belt assembly.

    12. Object Number: 206170 Size: SH
  12. Remove the driver side buckle assembly bolt.
  13. Remove the driver side buckle assembly.

    14. Object Number: 206157 Size: SH
  14. Remove the passenger seat belt assembly.

    15. Object Number: 206178 Size: SH
  15. Remove the passenger side buckle assembly bolt.
  16. Remove the passenger buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 206178 Size: SH
  1. Install the passenger buckle assembly.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the passenger buckle assembly bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the buckle bolts to 49 N·m (36 lb ft).

  3. Install the passenger seat belt assembly.

    4. Object Number: 206170 Size: SH
  4. Install the driver side buckle assembly.
  5. Install the driver side buckle assembly bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the buckle bolt to 49 N·m (36 lb ft).

  6. Install the driver seat belt assembly.

    7. Object Number: 206167 Size: SH
  7. Install the retractor bolt.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the retractor bolt to 49 N·m (36 lb ft).


    Object Number: 206164 Size: SH
  8. Install the lower anchor bolt.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the lower anchor bolt to 49 N·m (36 lb ft).


    Object Number: 206162 Size: SH
  9. Install the upper anchor bolt.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the upper anchor bolt to 49 N·m (36 lb ft).

  10. Carefully install the upper anchor bolt cover.

    11. Object Number: 206152 Size: SH
  11. Install the seat belt pass-through trim screw.

    12. Object Number: 206167 Size: SH
  12. Install the seat belt retractor cover.
  13. Install the seat belt retractor cover screw.

    14. Object Number: 206141 Size: SH
  14. Install the assist handle.
  15. Install the assist handle bolts.

    16. Object Number: 206138 Size: SH
  16. Install the door sill trim plate.
  17. Install the door sill trim plate screws.
