Test the operation of the Stoplamps.

Go to Step 2

1. Disconnect the harness connector from the right rear stop and turn lamp assembly.
2. Connect a J 39200 between terminal E in the right rear stop and turn lamp connector and the chassis ground.

Does the DMM indicate continuity?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Disconnect the harness connector from the Turn and Hazard flasher.
2. Connect a test lamp between terminal 9 of the turn and hazard flasher harness connector and the chassis ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) the ground circuit between G404 and S400.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

1. Set the turn signal switch to the Left turn position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the Turn Signal and Hazard Switch.
3. Connect a J 39200 between terminal 6 on the Turn Signal and Hazard Switch and the chassis ground.

Does the DMM indicate continuity?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Repair the open in CKT 110 or CKT 131 (ORN) between Circuit Breaker #25 and the turn and hazard flasher harness connector.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

--

Replace the Turn and Hazard Flasher.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

Replace the Turn Signal and Hazard Switch.

Is the repair complete?

System OK
