Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.

    2. Object Number: 34012 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) module electrical connector.
  3. Remove the 2 push-in retainers (1) that secure the RFA module (3) to the bottom of the rear trim panel shelf.
  4. Remove the RFA module.

Installation Procedure
  1. Align the RFA module to the fastener holes on the rear trim panel shelf.

    2. Object Number: 34012 Size: SH
  2. Install the retainers (1) in order to fasten the RFA module (3) onto the rear trim panel shelf.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Close the rear compartment lid.
  5. Program the transmitters. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
  6. Program the options for the RFA module. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Reprogramming .
