Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 284099 Size: MH
  1. Remove the trim panel (3). Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the passenger side temperature control switch harness (right side only).

    3. Object Number: 398514 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 screws (1) and the 6 retainer clips which retain the insert to the trim panel.

    4. Object Number: 398515 Size: SH
  4. Remove the insert (2).

    5. Object Number: 398517 Size: SH
  5. Remove the clips that retain the door lock/seat switch assembly (1) to the insert.
  6. Remove the door lock/seat switch assembly (1) from the insert.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 398517 Size: SH
  1. Install the door lock/seat switch assembly (1) into the insert.
  2. Install the clips in order to retain the door lock/seat switch assembly (1) to the insert.

    3. Object Number: 398515 Size: SH
  3. Install the insert (2).

    4. Object Number: 398514 Size: SH
  4. Install the 2 screws (1) and the 6 retainer clips in order to retain the insert to the trim panel.
  5. Position the trim panel next to the door.
  6. Connect the passenger temperature control switch harness (right side only).

    7. Object Number: 284099 Size: MH
  7. Install the trim panel (3). Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
