- Set the mirror select switch to the inoperative mirror.
- Use the digital multimeter (DMM) in order to backprobe the outside
mirror switch.
| • | Terminal M and terminal B (LH outside rearview mirror). |
| • | Terminal M and terminal E (RH outside
rearview mirror). |
- Position the outside mirror switch to the left and then to the
right.
Does the voltage measure within the specified range?

- Disconnect the inoperative outside rearview mirror connector.
- Connect a DMM between terminal A and terminal B
of the outside rearview mirror connector.
- Position the outside mirror switch to the left and then to the
right.
