Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left IP endcap. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 625076 Size: SH
  2. Remove the knee bolster compartment by pulling past the holding tab (1) and lifting up.

    3. Object Number: 497535 Size: SH
  3. Unsnap the knee bolster by pulling down and rearward to remove from the vehicle

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 497535 Size: SH
  1. Install the knee bolster to the IP.
  2. Push forward and up to make sure all clips snap into place.

    3. Object Number: 625076 Size: SH
  3. Place the bottom edge of the knee bolster compartment into the opening in the knee bolster.
  4. Push inward on the knee bolster compartment until the retainer clip (1) fully engages securing the knee bolster compartment to the knee bolster.
  5. Install the left IP endcap. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
