Inappropriate route guidance may occur under one of the following conditions:
| • | When not turning onto the road indicated by the system. |
| • | When route guidance is not available for the next right or left turn. |
| • | When the route is not changed during automatic rerouting. |
| • | When turning at an intersection, there is no route guidance. |
| • | When plural names of places are displayed. |
| • | When driving at high speeds, it may take a long time for automatic rerouting to operate. |
| • | When you are heading for a destination without passing through a set waypoint, automatic rerouting may display a route returning to the set waypoint. |
| • | When the route prohibits the entry of a vehicle due to a regulation by time or season or any other regulation which may be given. |
| • | When a route cannot be found. |
| • | When a road is new, recently changed or is not listed on the CD, the route to the destination may not be shown. See "Ordering Regional Map Compact Discs" following. |
