Tools Required

1. Remove the valve rocker arm cover.

•	For the left side of a utility vehicle, refer to

2. Remove the rocker arms. Refer to
3. Remove the spark plugs. Refer to



4. Install the J 23590 into the spark plug hole. Apply compressed air in order to hold the valves in place.



5. Install a rocker arm nut. Use the J 5892-D in order to compress the valve spring. Use spring compressorJ 38606 that will not permit use of J 5892-D.



6. Remove the valve keys.



7. Release the spring tension and remove the tool. Use J 38606 for cylinders that wil not permit use of J 5892-D.
8. Remove the spring and seal. Refer to

Tools Required

•	Use the J 23590 in order to apply air pressure to the cylinder and use the J 5892-D in order to compress the spring.

•	Install the valve keys.

•	Release the tension on the springs. Ensure that the valve keys stay in place.

•	Install the spark plugs.
