Makes 🢒 Oldsmobile 🢒 2003 🢒 Bravada - 2WD 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Doors 🢒 Rear Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  4. Disconnect the regulator motor electrical connector.
  5. Disconnect the door latch assembly electrical connector.
  6. Remove the second pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.

    7. Object Number: 735198 Size: SH
  7. From the inside of the door, release the rubber conduit retainer from the door by releasing the retaining tabs.
  8. Using the pillar access hole, remove the door harness connector retainer from the second pillar by releasing the retaining tabs.
  9. Disconnect the 6-way and the 8-way electrical connectors from the door wire harness connector.

    10. Object Number: 735197 Size: SH
  10. Note the routing of the wire harness and release the wire harness attachments from the door.
  11. Remove the wire harness from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 735197 Size: SH
  1. Install and route the wiring harness to the door as previously noted.
  2. Ensure that the wiring harness attachments are fully seated.

    3. Object Number: 735198 Size: SH
  3. Index the rubber conduit retainer to the door.
  4. Seat the rubber conduit retainer to the door.
  5. Connect the 6-way electrical connector to the upper portion of the door harness connector retainer.
  6. Connect the 8-way electrical connector to the lower portion of the door harness connector retainer.
  7. Align the door harness connector retainer to the second pillar.
  8. Seat the door harness connector retainer retaining tabs to the second pillar.
  9. Install the second pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  10. Connect the door latch assembly electrical connector.
  11. Connect the regulator motor electrical connector.
  12. Install the speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  13. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  14. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
