Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 856361 Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate window.
  2. Remove the nuts retaining the striker assembly to the liftgate window.
  3. Remove the handle and striker assembly from the liftgate window.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 856361 Size: SH
  1. Install the handle and striker assembly to the liftgate window.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the nuts retaining the striker assembly to the liftgate window.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  3. Check the liftgate window for proper operation, adjust if necessary. Refer to Liftgate Window Latch Striker Adjustment .
