TO ENSURE THE REAR BRAKE WHEEL CYLINDER BRACKET IS PROPERLY INSTALLED, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS PROVIDED AS A VISUAL AID WHEN INSTALLING RETAINER KIT. REFER TO THE SERVICE PROCEDURE ON PAGE 2 OF CAMPAIGN BULLETIN 80-C-18, DATED SEPTEMBER 12,1985.
After the bracket has been installed, inspect to make sure that the bracket fingers grasp the wheel cylinder, as shown in illustration. If fingers do not grasp the cylinder, remove the bracket and repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 of the Service Procedure.
