If hard steering exists, inspect for the following conditions:
| • | Magnasteer™ system malfunction (at low speeds). |
| • | Intermediate shaft coupling damaged or worn |
| • | Tight steering column bearings |
| • | Sticking flow control valve |
| • | Insufficient pump pressure |
| • | Air in power steering system |
| • | Low fluid level |
| • | Excessive internal pump leakage |
| • | Excessive internal rack and pinion leakage |
