J 34730 Fuel Pressure Gauge

1. Clean the area around the fuel pressure connection with GM X-30A or equivalent.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
3. Remove the fuel pressure connection valve using a standard valve core removal and installation tool.

1. Install the fuel pressure connection valve assembly using a standard valve core removal and installation tool.
2. Install the fuel pressure connection valve cap (3).
3. Tighten the fuel filler cap.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
5. Inspect for leaks.

5.1.	Turn the ignition switch ON for 2 seconds.

5.2.	Turn the ignition switch OFF for 10 seconds.

5.3.	Turn the ignition switch ON.

5.4.	Check for fuel leaks.

6. Reinstall the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
