Twilight Sentinel Circuit Description Buick
                    The twilight sentinel keeps the lamps on for a delay period
(3-180 seconds) under the following conditions:
|     •  | The vehicle is in the PARK position. | 
 
|     •  | The ambient light sensor indicates darkness. | 
 
|     •  | The ignition switch is turned to the OFF position. | 
 
You may turn OFF the twilight sentinel manually. The twilight sentinel
always has a minimum delay under the following conditions:
|     •  | The vehicle is in the PARK position. | 
 
|     •  | The ambient light sensor indicates darkness. | 
 
|     •  | The ignition switch is turned to the OFF position. | 
 
|     •  | The switch is released. | 
 
The twilight sentinel feature does not affect the operation of the daytime
running lamps (DRL).

                    The twilight sentinel keeps the lamps on for a delay period
(3-130 seconds) under the following conditions:
|     •  | The twilight switch is in the ON position. | 
 
|     •  | The vehicle is in PARK. | 
 
|     •  | The ambient light sensor indicates darkness. | 
 
|     •  | The ignition switch is turned to the OFF position. | 
 
The twilight sentinel feature does not affect the operation of the daytime
running lights (DRL).
