One of the following components is broken:

    • The spring hanger
    • The lane change pressure pad

Replace the multifunction turn signal switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .

The lane change spring exhibits one of the following conditions:

    • Broken
    • Missing
    • Misplaced

Replace the multifunction turn signal switch.Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .

One of the following components is jammed:

    • The base
    • The wires
  1. Inspect the base and the wires.
