Mode  | Description  |

Mode 1  | Feature disabled. No headlamps flash nor horn sounds when unlocking doors using the keyless entry transmitter.  |

Mode 3  | Headlamps flash when pressing unlock on the keyless entry transmitter.  | 
Mode 4  | Headlamps flash and horn sounds when pressing unlock on the keyless entry transmitter.  | 
Two ways to change the remote unlock verification mode:
| • | Scan tool method. Refer to scan tool user's manual for more information. | 
| • | Without a scan tool, describe next: | 
Note: The BCM sounds the chime a number of times equal to the current remote unlock verification mode.
| • | The BCM sounds the chime a number of times equivalent to the remote unlock verification mode. A transition past mode 4 repeats the sequence starting with mode 1. | 
| • | To exit and save the current customization mode: Release the door lock switch when obtaining desired mode. |
