Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 164522 Size: SH
  2. Remove the inside handle rod from the inside handle.
  3. Remove the inside handle rod from the inner panel clip.
  4. Remove the outside handle rod from the latch.
  5. Remove the key cylinder rod from the latch.
  6. Remove the front door lock retention bolt and remove the lock assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  7. Remove the inside handle rod from the lock.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 164522 Size: SH
  1. Install the inside handle rod and linkage rod to the latch.
  2. Install the front door lock leaving the bolts loose until rod connections are made at the inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  3. Install the inside handle rods into the inner panel clip.
  4. Tighten the door lock bolts.
  5. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
