Seat adjuster handle is twisted and/or bent.

Install a new left hand adjuster.

Adjuster lockbar return spring is broken.

Install a new adjuster.

Lock is sticking and/or binding on the adjuster.

1. Lubricate the lockbar pivot if lock is sticking.
2. Eliminate the cause of the binding if the lockbar is binding or replace the adjuster if necessary.

Crosswire is bent or hung up.

1. Ensure the crosswire is routed correctly.
2. Reroute the crosswire correctly if the crosswire is improperly routed or replace the crosswire if necessary.

Obstruction and/or bent lockbar.

Clear any obstructions from the lockbar or replace the lockbar if necessary.

Crosswire is missing and/or disconnected.

1. Connect the crosswire if disconnected.
2. Install the crosswire if missing.
