Assist Handle Replacement Front

1. Pull down on the assist handle to expose the retaining screws.
2. Front handle: Remove the assist handle screws (1).
3. Remove the assist handle.

1. Position the assist handle in the vehicle.
2. Install the assist handle screws (2).

Tighten
Tighten the assist handle screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

Assist Handle Replacement Rear

1. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the rail lamp lens.
2. Remove both screws (3) from the rail lamp.



3. Pull the assist handle down to expose its screws.
4. Remove the two retaining screws (2).
5. Disconnect the roof rail lamp electric connector.
6. Remove the assist handle from the vehicle.

1. Position the assist handle in the vehicle.
2. Connect the side rail lamp connector.
3. Install the assist handle screws (2).

Tighten
Tighten the assist handle screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

4. Install the rail lamp screws.

Tighten
Tighten the rail lamp screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

5. Install the rail lamp lens.
