Removal Procedure
  1. Open and support the rear compartment lid.

    2. Object Number: 182217 Size: SH
  2. Using small flat-bladed tool, lift up the locking clip on the strut upper ball stud.
  3. Disconnect the rear compartment lid strut by unsnapping the upper ball stud.
  4. Using small flat-bladed tool, lift up locking clip on strut lower ball stud.
  5. Disconnect the rear compartment lid strut by unsnapping the lower ball stud.
  6. Remove the rear compartment lid strut from the hinge.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 182217 Size: SH
  1. Align the rear compartment lid strut to the hinge.
  2. Snap in lower ball stud, then the upper ball stud.
  3. Remove the rear compartment lid support.
  4. Close the rear compartment.
