The flexible hydraulic brake hoses transmit hydraulic pressure from the steel brake lines on the body to the calipers. Inspect the hoses at least twice a year.

Inspect the brake hoses for the following conditions:

•	Road hazard damage

•

Leaks

Use a light and a mirror for an adequate inspection. Replace any hoses with any of the above conditions.
