Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1768942 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts.

    3. Object Number: 1768939 Size: SH

    Important: When disconnecting the stabilizer link, hold the link with a wrench to prevent turning.

  3. Remove the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nut.

    4. Object Number: 1768921 Size: SH

    Important: When disconnecting the stabilizer link, hold the link with a wrench to prevent turning.

  4. Remove the stabilizer link to lower control arm nut.
  5. Remove the stabilizer link from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1768921 Size: SH
  1. Position the stabilizer link through the lower control arm.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    Important: When connecting the stabilizer link, hold the link with a wrench to prevent turning.

  2. Install the stabilizer link to control arm nut.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft nut.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 57 N·m (42 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1768942 Size: SH
  4. Tighten the stabilizer shaft clamp bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
