Makes 🢒 Opel 🢒 2007 🢒 GT 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.0L 🢒 Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1717479 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the power brake booster pump. Refer to Power Brake Booster Auxiliary Pump Replacement .
  3. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove the left engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side .
  5. Remove the positive battery cable starter solenoid nut (2) from the starter.
  6. Remove the positive battery cable terminal (3) from the starter.

  7. Reposition the engine wiring harness boot (2) at the generator stud.
  8. Remove the engine wiring harness nut (1) from the generator.
  9. Remove the engine wiring harness terminal (3) from the generator.

    10. Object Number: 1717065 Size: SH
  10. Remove the engine mount bracket bolts and bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1717065 Size: SH
  1. Position the engine mount bracket to the engine block.
  2. Install the engine mount bracket bolts until snug.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Tighten the engine mount bracket bolts in the following sequence.
    4. 3.1. Lower
    3.2. Upper front
    3.3. Upper Rear

    Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  4. Install the engine wiring harness terminal (3) to the generator.
  5. Install the engine wiring harness nut (1) to the generator.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  6. Position the engine wiring harness boot (2).

    7. Object Number: 1717479 Size: SH
  7. Install the positive battery cable terminal (3) to the starter.
  8. Install the positive battery cable starter solenoid nut (2) to the starter.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  9. Install the left engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side .
  10. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  11. Install the power brake booster pump. Refer to Power Brake Booster Auxiliary Pump Replacement .
  12. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
