Preliminary Procedures

1. If equipped, remove the Fuel Tank Heat Shield. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Warning: Gasoline or gasoline vapors are highly flammable. A fire could occur if an ignition source is present. Never drain or store gasoline or diesel fuel in an open container, due to the possibility of fire or explosion. Have a dry chemical (Class B) fire extinguisher nearby.

Fuel Filter Assembly to Fuel Filter Bracket Retainer

Procedure

1. Release the Fuel Filter Assembly Retainer using a screwdriver.
2. Lift the Filter upwards to disengage the Fuel Filter for the Fuel Filter Bracket.

Fuel Filter Assembly Inlet and Outlet pipe

Procedure

1. Release the Fuel pipes to the Fuel Filter Assembly (Qty: 2)
2. Pull the Fuel filter away from the Fuel Tank and downwards to remove from the Fuel Filter Bracket.
