EN-45059 Torque Angle Sensor Kit
For equivalent regional tools, refer to
Special Tools.
- Clean the sealing surfaces.
- Inspect for plane surface.
| • | Cylinder block, cylinder head |
| • | Straight-edge, feeler gage |
- Install the cylinder head gasket.
- Install the cylinder head.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Note: Note the correct tightening sequence.
- Install NEW cylinder head bolts (1).
- Tighten the bolts in 5 passes. Use the EN-45059 torque angle sensor kit.

25 N·m (18 lb ft) |
| • | Second pass to
90 degrees |
| • | Third pass to
90 degrees |
| • | Fourth pass to
90 degrees |
| • | Fifth pass to
45 degrees |
