This diagnostic addresses if the ECM is not programmed with the speed limit.
| • | The ignition is ON. | 
| • | The DTC runs continuously once the above condition is met. | 
The ECM detects that the speed limit is not programmed in the EEPROM for greater than 1 s.

Program the ECM. If DTC P160A sets after programming, perform the following steps:
| • | Ensure that all tool connections are secure. | 
| • | Ensure the programming equipment is operating correctly. | 
| • | Ensure the correct software and the correct calibration is used. | 
| • | Attempt to program the K20 Engine Control Module (ECM). | 
| ⇒ | If DTC P160A sets, replace the K20 Engine Control Module (ECM). |
