Removal Procedure

    Important: Do not exchange digital radio receivers between vehicles. Exchanging digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock. "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.

  1. Remove the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 955738 Size: SH
  2. Remove the receiver bracket nuts.
  3. Remove the receiver from the bracket.
  4. Disengage the electrical connector and the antenna connectors from the XM radio receiver.

    5. Object Number: 955754 Size: SH
  5. Remove the XM digital radio receiver from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 955738 Size: SH
  1. Install the XM digital radio receiver to the receiver bracket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the radio receiver nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector and the antenna connectors to the XM radio receiver.
  4. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
  5. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
