Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 860152 Size: SH
  3. Pull the theft deterrent control module (2) away from the lock cylinder housing (1) .

    4. Object Number: 697348 Size: SH
  4. Depress the 2 white spring loaded retainers on the ignition switch.
  5. Slide the ignition switch downward away from the ignition lock cylinder case.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition switch.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the ignition switch.

    2. Object Number: 375309 Size: SH
  2. Slide the ignition switch into the ignition lock cylinder case.

    3. Object Number: 860152 Size: SH
  3. Push the theft deterrent module (2), onto the lock cylinder housing (1) .
  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  5. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
