- Remove the theft deterrent relay. Refer to

- Connect a test lamp between the theft deterrent relay terminal
C1 and ground.

- While observing the test lamp, press the lock button on the remote

- While observing the test lamp, press the lock button on the remote

A1 and the BCM connector C3 terminal C8.
