- Test for a poor connection at the ignition key lock cylinder and
I/P harness connector terminals A and B.
 
- Test for an open in circuit 1073.
 
- Test for a short to B+ in circuit 1073.
 
- Test for a short to ground in circuit 1073.
 
- If circuit 1073 is OK, replace the BCM. Refer to 
Body Control Module Replacement 
in
Body Control Systems.

- Retest the key. If the key code is invalid, replace the key. Refer
