1. Using a J 39200 Digital Multi-Meter, backprobe between body control module (BCM) connector C1 terminal D and the ground.
2. While observing the J 39200 Digital Multi-Meter, move either door lock switch to the UNLOCK position.

Is there continuity?

0ohms

Go to Step 2

Go to Step 3

1. Test for a poor connection at BCM connector C1 terminal D.
2. If OK, replace the BCM.

Refer to Body Control Module Replacement .
