Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Electric Coolant Fan Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1241822 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector(s) .

    3. Object Number: 1241823 Size: SH
  3. Remove the electric cooling fan mounting bolts.
  4. Remove the electric cooling fan.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1241823 Size: SH
  1. Install the electric cooling fan(s).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1241822 Size: SH
  2. Install the electric cooling fan mounting bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the electrical cooling fan mounting bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the cooling fan electrical connector.
